*** 2020 BOM Announcement ***
August 17 -- I resumed Out West
Hello friend I want to give you an update on our Out West sew along
July 30 update
watch at the end of my video above for an update
I'm trying to start this up again later in August 2020. I still have very little mobility and I will not have the second cast off until August 10th and then I have weeks and weeks and weeks of physical therapy
I'm trying for August 17th, I can't promise that but I'm hoping I can get patterns organized for that
thank you for your patience during this extraordinarily difficult time for me and my family
July 22 update
If you have not heard yet, a few days ago I tripped during my walk, fell and broke both of my wrists. See my YouTube channel
One thing that I can't do at all is write patterns
so what I am going to do is delay the next pattern for this sew along until September or October.
Today I just don't know what will be do able.
I have options for you:
- -- repeat four blocks you've already done
- -- go to my I love to make quilts website and find blocks you like from Prior sew alongs and use those https://www.ilovetomakequilts.com/
- -- wait until I can write patterns again
I will keep you updated on my ability to write and type on the computer. after I have surgery on Tuesday I'll have a better idea of how long all this will take but I know there's going to be a lot of physical therapy afterwards in order to get my wrists and hands working again
Follow me at my YouTube channel for the most current information
thank you so much for all the love and support you've been giving both Gregg and I it means a lot to us 💕

*** The Theme 'Out West! ***
Let me tell you about this year, I am SO excited about this theme! What can be better than Cowboy hats, horses, Wild West stories (old and new), and maybe a chuck wagon stew as you explore the West for a year!
Gregg and I have traveled across the country and some of my favorite stops had me learning about Western life. Not only what went on years ago, but also current western lifestyles.
To get in shape for this journey I’ve been doing a lot of research and it’s going to be hard to narrow it down to only 10 exciting things about the West to feature. I’ve even found a lingo guide, who knew that Pecos Strawberries are Beans? Now I’m on the hunt to read a few books by current day western authors.. if you have a recommendation leave it below.
Block #1 will be available during the day Jan 3, not right away, but later after Andy gets to work in Utah and makes it live.
*** Supply List & KIT INFO ***
Each month I will write an article here and at their website. I will have a photo sharing party at the end. So you will click over to get the block and then come back to my website to share your photos. You can also share at Facebook by going to https://www.facebook.com/groups/QuiltWithPatSloan/?ref=direct
