This year’s Stronger Together patterns feature the biography of Garrett Morgan, an influential figure from history chosen by Shereece for his contribution to the sewing world. The quilt represents elements from Morgan’s life and work, including the patented zigzag stitch mechanism for manual sewing machines that he invented. During his lifetime he created a number of inventions and prototypes that we benefit from today.

***Sweet Dreams.. Mystery Sew Along Details***
I'm so excited to announce the Next Block Wednesday Sew long 'Sweet Dreams'! We will celebrate favorite desserts each week, yum!
** DETAILS **
- RUNS: January 5, 2022 to May 11, 2022
- Blocks: ALL PIECED in a variety of sizes, see the layout in the download below.
- ONE assignment per week.
- SIZE: 60 /1/2" x 72 1/2"

- What is a Fat Quarter? A fat quarter is half of a 1/2 yard of fabric cut WIDE so it is 18" x 20"
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure!
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) - Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric - Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery
- What are the Technique? - All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.

You do not have to use the same fabric as me. You can use any fabric you like, I want this to be a quilt you love!
