Block #9 is a building every town has, a house of worship. No matter the size or what they look like, they are a gathering spot of the community. I want to show you a church that is special to me.

This is the shipping Departments family church. It's also the church my parents were married in and over 39 yrs ago, I was married here too.
Rebuilt in the 1950s it is a beautiful church just off main street in the town Gregg grew up in. The town my mom grew up in. And it's the town my dad grew up in.
TIP:
When making this block I was trying to work in more 'blue' . I tested 2 of the larger scale blue prints by cutting the strips. Since there are a lot of busy prints, the more solid reading blue that I finally selected won out. But I really wanted one of these, sometimes you have go with simple to be effective.
I don't see it as wasteful to cut and audition this fabric. The strips are 2.5" wide. so I subcut them into 2.5" squares for my scrap system.
