Last block for In the Summer Time! I will have a border option next week, which I'm still sewing on.... wheeee!!!!
Block #20 of 20 is 'Build Sandcastles!'.
There are SO MANY Summer memories I could pull from but decided to go way back in time to celebrate my Great Aunt June, who I loved dearly!
All the blocks in this sew along have a diagram for using the block in repeat. Sometimes with the frame, or like this one, without the frame and just the block. I think this will make an amazing scrap buster quilt!
My 'ultimate goal' is to make a quilt from each of these.. I wonder if that would be a cool scrap busting challenge? Work through some of them?
What do you think about that? I assign a blog and then we sew scraps up. Leave me a comment below
Next week is the border pattern. With travel and the start of my Splendid Sampler project I'm working to get it on, but I may only have one side until I'm back from the trip.

I want to be sure everyone has a chance to own these great irons! If you have been waiting on the pink one, it's back in stock!
I did a video and article about it HERE
The color differences are
- Yellow & Pink are IDENTICAL except color
- Blue is less expensive, so the 20% off is fantastic. It has these differences
- 8'6" cord instead of 12'
- Stainless Steal soleplate instead of Chomium soleplate
- 8 min auto shut off instead of 30 min with the pink & yellow
