Always I am amazed how various fabric choices change the look of a block. The above photos is a fine example of that fact. Thanks for sharing all the blocks.

Whenever I think of my Nana I remember her breakfast nook. I still have the small 30 x40
inch table that sat in it with 4 chairs for her and Grandpa to have breakfast every morning. Another fond memory, is of Grandpa feeding this one squirrel that would come to
the side door and hang on the screen until he gave it some nuts. Grandpa named it Cupcake.
Then of course there were milk chutes too for home delivery.

Love the stories in your Grandma's Quilt. Reminds me of my maternal grandmother's saying, "If you drop a tea towel, company's coming! She's been gone over 40 years, but with your sew along, it's bringing back memories. I have her mother's 1910 Treadle Singer in my kitchen! On the giveaway, the pattern and blue fabric look luscious! Making a quilt in blue is on my bucket list!

Tho I'm in my 30s, recipe cards are precious to me! I keep them in a cheap photo album so that I can take it in the kitchen with me and not get anything messy- it just wipes right off!
