We are officially over the middle of the project .. block wise! Block 13 is 'Studio Time' and we have 12 blocks more for my Solstice quilt! I think I'm obsessed with seeing how the blocks look in repeat.. you'll find another below
I'm combining a 9-patch center with smaller HST units for a variation on a traditional block. Normally the HST would be the same size as the 9-patch squares, but if you do that for a 12" block the numbers get funky and honestly I'm not about that. Give me 1/2" increments and I'm a happy camper.

If I reverse the colorway of the block and set them side by side, it creates an new design at the intersection.. isn't that neat!
